Greed is necessary and shouldn't be suppressed

> Think about all the industrialists that made the new world what it is today. Because of greed,

Yes, to paraphrase Augustine, we live in the City of Money , when it would be far better for us to live in the City of God. What you think as a good thing, I and Augustine think is not so good.

> Coca Cola,

You offer this, a soft drink company that makes most of its money off of unhealthy beverages which lead to obesity and diabetes? As a way our world is better?

> Wouldn't competition for limited resources help promote ingenuity, which leads to the betterment of society? Take the Cold War for example;

You cite war as a good thing, for the betterment of society? A lot of people died in the Cold War, through its many client wars in the third world. But I suppose for you that is justified because it gave us a few consumer products.

> Without greed, would people work hard to change their financial status for the betterment of their living standards?

Without greed would millions be stuck in McJobs to make money for greedy CEOs and stock owners?
