dude please take people’s advice. i know it hurts to think youre not giving your pet a good home so most of the time people become in denial and defensive but really we’re just trying to help you and your snake so that he can live his best life in captivity. my girl was constantly out and about during the day when i first got her and it was so obvious she was stressed out due to lack of hides and too much exposure due to the glass sides, so i put black foam on the back of her tank and put her log hide against the back and buried it with substrate to enclose one end and also got her a rock hide & bought some fake plant vines & shrubs to put on the sides to make her feel as if shes more enclosed & now shes only ever roaming around at night (which is how its supposed to be). if you cant afford another proper hide theres plenty of ideas for cheap DIY hides you can do. also you can put a towel over half the tank to make it more dark so he feels more secure (you can even make it wet with warm water to help with humidity since having a screen top makes keeping the humidity up hard). once again were not trying to attack you were just trying to help :)
