I can’t really change what my store is. It’s not my choice in how this company works. I decide to work with them because of my love for animals, and there aren’t a lot of part time options out there that will let me work with animals. It brings absolute joy to my heart to educate people on their dream pet and help them through the process of bringing it into their family. I also came to this thread for help, not to be bashed for what I do. I was trying to do the right thing. Do I agree that petsmart should not sell these animals? Yes. But can I go and tell my manager(who also believes animals shouldn’t be sold like this) to stop selling animals? I’m just an associate. I can’t change the company. All I can do is make sure that these animals are sold in a responsible manner, and make sure the people buying them are as informed as possible.
