does anyone know of this morph? it was labeled as rare. they said the package didn't list the morph. it looks like a pretty normal or a Mojave?

Okay I have a wee bit of a rant bubbling inside, and I mean no offense to OP but it’s been on my mind for a bit.

I don’t mean to be condescending at all, but it’s wild how many people don’t realize that normal ball pythons look a variety of ways. The alien heads can be anywhere from yellowish to chocolaty brown, the black can be super dark or less dark, one of my normals had a slight bit of blushing as well.

When people post here like “is this a morph?” And everyone says “no it’s just a pretty normal,” c’mon guys, normals are pretty in their own right.

Normals aren’t all exactly the same, just because you think it’s “special” or it looks slightly different than another normal you’ve seen, that doesn’t mean it’s a morph.

There’s some sort of almost elitism surrounding normals, like they’re boring and basic because we selectively bred a bunch of fancy colors and patterns. Someone looks at a normal ball python and thinks “wow, that’s extraordinary, look at the colors and shades and patterns” and they think that it can’t be a normal because it’s not boring, it’s beautiful and subtly unique.

I had a pastel desert dreamsicle (or something like that I lost the paperwork lol) and she had a lovely pattern and color, but I used to look at pictures of normals and be like “damn, what a lovely brown.”

Let’s mutually agree that normals are sexy in their own right, and just because your snake is pretty doesn’t mean it’s a morph
