Extra 40th Figures, to return or to keep then sell...

What's with the persistence dude? Have you ever seen any black Series or marvel legends release ever?

ALL of the figures sell for more than they're worth for awhile when they're released. Beyond that, they all drop to retail or below - often times to clearance.

Everyone with the "I need it now" mentality and the scalpels are the reason for prices going up short term.

That's not what OP is asking. He's asking if they're worth saving long term and selling later down the line.

The answer is no. I guarantee you they will drop in price once everyone's 40th anniversary set boners have gone down.

And regardless, you just quoted me - to which you previously said I stated the other figures would drop under retail. Please describe to be where I said that, because the quoted portion says I don't think they'll go much over retail. That is different than "You won't even be able to get retail price".

Get off your high horse. OP asked about LONG TERM value. I said the majority of non exclusive items will not fetch much more than retail.

But by all means, go ahead and stock up and try to sell them 2 years down the line for 50 bucks a piece. It'll be hilarious.
