To each their own, and while I rank it fairly high among their recent stuff, Mosaic has so many weak songs IMO, I don't understand it's popularity.

Til the City, Too Much Too Think, Perfect Mistake and On A Roll are all generic sounding and lack real depth.

Places That The Mind Goes and Inside Our Home sounds like Nick Hexum Quintet (which is fine for NHQ, not 311).

Island Sun, Forever Now, Days of 88 and Syntax Error are all way too cheesy for me to take seriously.

And while I can understand why people like them, I'm just not a fan of Wildfire or Too Late.

I do love Face in the Wind, One and the Same, Hey Yo and to a lesser extent, The Night is Young and Extension.

That's 5 bangers, some ok songs, and a lot of Meh.

The songs I like off Voyager I like better and they feel closer to what I love about 311.

TL;DR While still a pretty good album, I don't see Mosaic as great, quantity over quality issue, IMO
