For all my fellow female gacha gamers

in a gacha slump (?) right now but when I'm not, i enjoy genshin, pgr, arknights, and fgo. the husbandos are minimum (the number of husbandos i actually like is even lower) but the adorable girls (and not-girls) make up for it. other than that, i think the main draw for me is that their gameplay is actually engaging (except for fgo once you can 3T everything)

i also like trying joseimuke and otome gachas, but i ended up dropping most of them after a few weeks. usually my problem with them is how dull the gameplay is and the fact that there's no clear pity in the gacha. five years ago I'd be fine with them because that's just the norm (i was quite into ensemble stars for a few years. the card arts were great) but nowadays after getting fed by actually strong gacha systems (not fgo) and games with intriguing stories + engaging gameplay, i don't think i can come back to that anymore

it's wishful thinking but maybe in a decade there will be a genshin equivalent of joseimuke/otome game with actual gameplay (not the open world part, but the 'gacha games for phones can be ambitious and not that niche' part)

this turned into a rant lol sorry
