[FIGHT THREAD] Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs James Kirkland & Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao (replay) + live round-by-round coverage

What'd you miss? His getting fucking pummeled - yet again - after having dropped Ann Wolfe - yet AGAIN.

This isn't to say that he wouldn't have gotten pummeled had he kept Ann Wolfe - Canelo really is a bad ass motherfucker - but the fact of the matter is that a big reason WHY he got KTFO in this fight is because, like a fucking DUMB ASS, he kept his right hand way fucking low the entire fight. This is what allowed Canelo to start catching him hard with those wonderful left hooks. Kirkland's corner never once even brought that shit up in the corner. They were just pep talking him. No actual technical instructions. I was fucking rage palming so hard the whole time. "Keep your right fucking hand up, you dumb ass!"

Some might say that it was Canelo's right hand over Kirkland's left that finished him, and not the fact that he was keeping his right low, but that final right happened because Canelo had already soften him up big time as a result of Kirkland's inept defense allowing Canelo to slam and weaken him with those beautiful left hooks. That's what ultimately allowed Canelo to bait him easily with that wonderfully timed jab to the stomach and that monster right up top that finished it all. That simply wouldn't have happened if Ann Wolfe would have been there because she's a smart and intelligent enough fighter and trainer to see that defensive mistake that Kirkland was making and slap him in the corner and say "Keep yo goddamn right hand up, nigga! He's catching you wit the left hook every time!"

But no. Kirkland's corner was just like "You can do this, baby. He's tired! You don't see that already! Go get him!"

Fuck you with that dumb ass "Rocky" advise. Again, facepalm.

I love me some Kirkland, but I have ZERO sympathy for his dumb ass decisions and the effects that he's put on his own head because of them.
