Fighting with hubby

I totally understand how you feel, albeit on a smaller scale. I have no idea how it feels to do IVF (and I sincerely hope I never have the opportunity to find out).

This week my husband has caught some sort of stomach thing. It is, admittedly, pretty bad, and thankfully appears to not actually be contagious but possibly related to something he ate while camping. So he's been getting sick and laying around and generally feeling sorry for himself for four days (has only missed one day of work though, so he isn't shirking his other responsibilities). On the other hand, I threw up several times a day for about twelve weeks straight and managed to maintain our house and garden and the care of our daughter and pets and all of the other things I normally do with barely a change. The same thing happened when I was pregnant in December, we all had the same horrific sinus infection and he was taking loads of medicine and sleeping all day while I just went about my business sick, taking care of a sick toddler, and unmedicated completely (and then ended up miscarrying on top of it all). Fortunately he really doesn't get sick very often, so I can grin and bear it twice a year or less. I wish I had better advice but you have my sympathy.
