one of the first doctors I saw who helped me out was over two hours away and I waited an additional hour and a half in their office to see them. Once I had her opinion I was able to take her opinion and tell other doctors. I then took this doctor's suggestions and gave it to a closer doctor who then became much more receptive (you can ask for a summary from them to give to other doctors). Just a suggestion that may help you. another specialist I saw I called every few days for a long time asking if they had any cancellations, eventually I got in. It isn't easy but eventually I got what I needed, I just had to fight a ton for it. just a suggestion.
