Then why would anyone call himself an atheist instead of an agnostic?

Hello I hope I am welcome on this subreddit, but I call myself an atheist and I would like to explain why.

I don't believe that no gods exist, I just don't think I have any reason to believe that any particular ones do. I call myself an atheist because I think this is the most accurate way to sum up my thoughts and feelings about religion to most people who are unfamiliar with me or my personality. The term agnostic gives off the impression to many people that I am still searching for truth and I just haven't made a decision yet. This is not true, I have reached where I am through reasoning that I am completely satisfied with and I have concrete opinions about religion and spirituality. It is more of a social label than an ideological one.
