Former dispatchers

I worked 7 years for an Intermodal container company as a dispatcher and I got really tired of it towards the end. Lots of stress and they just kept piling on work, I was making 50K a year but the stress was killing me. I quit the job and started DoorDashing just to keep the income flowing in, but obviously the $ is not enough.

At the moment an HVAC company is offering me a job at $20 an hour as a dispatcher.

I'm thinking of taking it.. I can't imagine it will be as stressful as dispatching in the intermodal world. I was dispatching and managing up to 40 drivers at one point.. and I think this HVAC company has 40 employees TOTAL. So I'm assuming maybe 25 of those are drivers ?

I still have a few days to think about it..
