Not to sound disdainful but what good is the thyroid if it’s infected with cancer and not working properly … like I completely get you that’s hard to wrap your head around the cards life has dealt you with losing an important vital gland because of cancer, but I also don’t understand why one would keep the gland if 1 it has cancer & 2 it’s going to not work properly because of the cancer and giving you a chance to have a metastasis to surrounding organs? You can 10000x still be active without it and not live a miserable life. I feel like a miserable life is giving the infected area room to grow to other organs and cutting your quality of life.
