The crystal on the Moonswatch is not a mineral crystal. I understand your referenced article that is on C24 claims it is mineral, but the author of that article could hardly be considered an expert, and I don't understand why C24 would be publishing his articles. And if their editors didn't catch that mistake, they're just not paying attention.

My Speedy moon with plastic is now in a group of watches I own with plastic crystals. They are relegated to being worn only on certain occasions. Before I put it in that group, it had at least three new crystals because the scratches wouldn't polish out. But I'm more glad that I bought it when they were only around $2600! I wear a sapphire version more often now, and don't worry.
