Don’t know who Ben is but it’s sad that instead of having an intellectual argument you choose to call someone transphobic and say they’re gross. It speaks volumes more to who you are as a person than to who I am and I feel very sorry for you.
To your logical points though:
I doubt anyone will confuse a person for a couch when someone says “It has brown hair”, or “it has a white shirt” or when asked where Michael is, and the reply is “it is over there.” Your argument is again very flawed.
There is no requirement or social norm to call someone by the name they choose. In fact the name most people are called are given or bestowed by someone else. You call someone doctor because they are legally a doctor. You call someone Mike because their parent legally named them Mike. In the military you call someone by their call sign because their mates gave them that name, but even then no one is expected to call that person by their call sign. When someone decides they would like to be called “Tractor” I am in no way required or obligated to call them tractor when their legal name is James.
