Every since I read the book GANGBUSTERS I thought that Tommy Lucchese was that Don in the Godfather that said "the negros are animals let them lose their souls". There is a passage in the book that stated that Lucchese said that the drugs (heroin) was "going into the arms of ni**ers" so he didn't care. Or something to that effect. Not sure if the book is true or not. Who knows. In his book Al D'Arco (Lucchese) stated that drugs flooding into other neighborhoods wasn't his problem. Two of his children ended up with drug problems though and he went to the dealer in his neighborhood and called him out. How these guys flooded the city and other neighborhoods with drugs and NEVER thought that drugs could be a problem for THEIR CHILDREN is beyond me. Tommy Lucchese lived in Lido Beach but his old neighborhood Italian Harlem was flooded with drugs. He ultimately didn't give a shit about Italian children in that neighborhood either. These guys are supreme hypocrites, unless anyone didn't already know. We should celebrate when they fall. It's better for society as a whole.
