Galaxy S7 Asia vs European (930FD vs 930F), differences?

The Asian FD variant has dual sim capabilities as you said, but it has no removable microSD card slot in return. This is good for businessmen who may return to and from two countries very frequently, and it can still be good (although not nearly as good) for travellers as it means they have to swap SIM cards less frequently and so will have less chance of losing their SIM card from their home country. This does mean that you're stuck with 32GB though, and that may not be enough for some people who take a lot of photos and videos.

The European 930F has a removal microSD slot which means you have expandable storage, so you have 32GB + the memory from the microSD. This is good if you have to take photos and videos, and if you're travelling then you'll probably be doing a lot of that. Whilst it doesn't have dual sim capabilities, you'll have to go to the inconvenience of using a pin to open up the SIM slot either way if you don't want to be ripped off from roaming charges, so it's not really much of a loss for travellers.
