Game release: Working Man by Ice

whistles I think this might be my favourite game since Goblin Boy retired. The build-up and suspense were great, and the payoff was almost always satisfying. I'm really impressed and surprised by the large cast of characters, each with their own complete model for the most part. They looked distinct, and they felt different, having their own personal stories. The sex scenes were enjoyably written and the characters were pleasant to interact with, even if I'd have liked more topics.

It did take some getting used to for the “look under” command. “Search” is so much more common. After reading the first bit of the walkthrough on AIF Sans Mystery, I got a better feel for how to look at the game though. The first time through completely on my own, I got the bad ending. Some of those round-limited sections are really harsh since you don't know where anything is at in the beginning. There was sometimes an annoying amount of undoing.

Your world-building was pretty solid. The home was excellent. It was nice to wander about and explore, with surprising interactibility, but you could probably have used a few more items with descriptions in the bedrooms. While the city and office clearly had a lot of options, they also built some expectations that never panned out.

Mechanically, the use of doors was a bit odd before you learn how they work. You'd probably benefit from more clearly labeling exits or from changing how they work, since trying to go through a direction before the door is open results in: “There is no route to the south, only...” At first, I thought the door and exit were merely flavour in the description. Also, it'd be nice to be able to leave the car via out or leave or something. “Open car” and “exit car” never stopped being awkward.

The lack of accompanying images for the album was a bit jarring, honestly. You had images in so many unexpected places for unexpected situations, included multiple outfits for characters, etc. that I was both expecting and looking forward to images when I saw “album”. There weren't even any vivid descriptions to take their place. I was looking forward to something similar to what you find on the computer in Bad Sister.

Also I must admit that I was hoping Claire would be more involved, perhaps some indication that she took after her mother, perhaps spying, a few strange comments about mom, a bit more lax with covering up, etc. It was odd that you could strip her doll, but nothing came of it. Oh well. That's a matter of taste and hope for the story. Your disclaimer was perfectly clear and I loved the story you told even as it was.

Finally, a gallery mode for 100% would be nice. I don't want to read through AIF Sans Mystery yet, but a search did not reveal one mentioned.
