Crazy how it becomes more of a hassle than anything. Yeah I've actually had a side hobby of flipping road bicycles, for about 7-8 years now and just this past Sunday I had a weird exchange. Dude comes to my house and then keeps messaging me that he's "outside my house" and I'm walking outside and looking up and down my street and I don't see anyone, just a car parked toward the end of the street..but no one ever comes out.

I even go as far as to take the bicycle and wheel it around front to bring it onto the front porch as a big display, like "this is the right house...I'm showing off a fucking bicycle" but no one approaches.

I'm convinced the dude got the address wrong but he starts describing my house. I eventually ignore him b/c I start getting weird vibes, like if this guy can't figure out how to get out of his car and walk up to my front door then why is he pressing so hard for me to walk down the street and meet him at his car window?

After about 20 minutes of this car sitting down the street it pulls around to the alley and I decide, screw it I want this bike out of here. So I take the bike out back and sell it to him.

Weirdest sale I've ever had, and I've probably sold 60-70 bikes over the years.
