[Game Thread] it's here its real hawks are back lfg. Atlanta Hawks - Orlando Magic 7PM ET

Feels like the Hawks have too many players that try to/ want to create offense. Bogdan should be staggered with Trae so that he’s basically the backup PG alongside Rondo. They did that for 2 minutes in the first half but it seems like the Hawks are trying to make Cam do that too which doesn’t optimize Bogdan. But not letting Cam run the offense could also stunt his development and relegate him to a spot up shooter which isn’t his strength.

Also, Trae/Collins/Gallo are your most efficient offensive players by far, so the offense should focus on getting them the most touches. But it’s hard to do that when you have 8 players trying to get touches and shots.

Seems like a tough situation and some hard decisions need to be made. You’re not going to get the best of rondo if he’s playing 12 minutes a game and playing off ball next to Bogdan and Cam. You won’t get the best Bogdan or Gallo if they’re just spot up shooters. And you won’t get the best development out of Cam if he’s relegated to the 5th option.

I think some hard decisions need to be made w/regard to playing time and roles going forward. Not an overreaction to one game, I’ve thought this since the end of FA.
