Garrett Lockhart best known by his stage name i_o has sadly passed away

I’m here to clear some of the air about Garrett. He was a close friend of one of my best friends and they worked closely together. In fact, 444 was the name of a club that has since closed down and it was his experience there that translated into his work. He didn’t have a drug problem.

The wound is so fresh. He was a cool guy. The last time I saw him was in a secret UHaul rave and I was shocked he recognized me behind my mask. He gave me a hug and we had a mini dance battle.

I want you guys to know he was taken care of. Not by me personally, but I want you to know his support was real and stuck by his side.

I cried with friends today on the phone. He was just here (in my hometown) last week. He was here and it was like any other time.

I only learned about him through my friend and heard his music for the first time when I went to his concert with him and my friend. I was in awe of his fans and his effect. I saw someone holding a sign telling him that he saved their life. I was deeply moved.

My friend had a dream last night (they were very very close) and in it, he smiled to them during a set and walked into the crowd.
