What is your worst "stiffed" story?

I posted this about a week ago but the little attention it got wad negative, probably because it was my own damned fault.

When the guy opened his door, I had his pizza out of the bag and ready to go. I then told him the total and handed him the pizza. He claimed that he thought it had been paid for already with a credit card.

I explained that on his receipt it says he would be paying with cash. I took the receipt back to see how the order was placed. He had called and placed the order. I asked him if the cashier had asked for his card number. He said his girlfriend called the order in and it was supposed to be on her card. Then he apologized and shut the door, taking the pizza with him.

Immediately, I realized my mistake. I almost just walked away right then, thinking he wasn't going to come back to the door, but then I heard him talking to yelling at someone about how they apparently used his credit card earlier and now he can't find it.

He did come back to the door eventually, only to tell me that he could not find his card. He asked if he could give them his "information" over the phone without the card. I asked if he knew the full credit card number. He did not.

"Sorry, but we need the number and expiration date to complete a transaction."

"Okay, well I guess I'll give you the pizza back."

Alright. I told him that if his situation changed to give us a call and we'd send his order back out. He said "Okay," and went back inside.

Suddenly I heard him yelling again: "NIGGA WHAT? Man... really, nigga? Really?"

Well, okay. I waited a few more seconds and heard him approaching the door while muttering some more obscenities.

When he got back he told me his friends had already started eating the pizza. He opened the box, and sure enough, only three and a half pieces were left.

Sigh. Whatever, I took it back anyway. I expected my manager to make me pay for the order (wouldn't have been a huge deal, it was about $15), but instead he cancelled the o
