German redditor translates the title of Angela Merkel's PhD thesis in physical chemistry and explains, in quite some detail, what it is actually about

Obviously that's not true now is it, at least what you are implying. Merkel is a terrible communicator. Trump has been more vocal than anyone, while maybe not receiving the dialogue that should be sent back he is equally hit with critism and jibes. That's probably why Clinton lost then right? We can all agree she was not so great at communicating with the average person. Simple as that. I think a lot of people feel they haven't been communicated with enough, or are just told what they want to hear. No one is perfect, but people have feelings that are strong they aren't just statistic in a study. If anything communicating is what got trump in the White House and nothing else. Again wether that is truthful what he said or not is up for debate but he obviously spoke to people and they listened. Don't know if you've seen the stock market recently but I'll give you a couple guesses on what Obama did from election to inauguration in 2008 and 2012 or Day of election, or tell me how many positive days happened after an election. Things aren't so bad, there are sooo many other issues than social issues (many of which can be solved with huger wages and jobs)
