The Grange announces temporary closure due to staff shortages

I worked there for years. I went back during the pandemic under the pretenses that if I did, they'd keep my health insurance (even though you need to work 30 hrs to qualify for the health insurance that comes out of our paycheck). Was made aware after that unless we worked the 30+ hrs our insurance would be terminated. There were only ~4 of us working, one shift a week. Impossible. I requested to be taken off the schedule (being told it wouldn't hinder anything) like the 20+ staff still on unemployment and would be happy to return after when I'd have more shifts to work because I don't want covid again. They dropped me without telling me. Can't say I'm not surprised. I loved working for them and am grateful that they kept the people on insurance after we closed but were on lockdown. No one was getting sick. Coming back is when we needed insurance in case we got covid so how they handled it made me bitter about it.
