The best way to break in is to to build your network of mentors. Find folks who are active on Linkedin and slide in their DM's, offer a coffee, ask for advice.

I also highly recommend adding and dming SDR's at orgs before applying, ask if they would be open to sparing 10 min, hop on a zoom, chat them up, then ask for a referral. Referrals get to skip recruiter screens at some orgs and you're chances of being hired of a referral are 60% higher.

If you haven't already, add metric to your resume. I was in retail sales before I broke in and I added stuff around attainment, initiatives I started, etc. Use tech language in your resume even if you have no tech experience.
