Max5 with the 800kv is great but then I’ve ran leopard motors 1050 and 1100kvs then I found a hobbystar 980kv and stuck with that with 31/39 gearing thinking about going 29/39 since it runs a little too warm.

Those batteries are actually not enough IMO I run 8000mah 100c with QS8 connectors
The stock spektrum electronics have the IC5 plugs with the smart wires that are integrated for battery life that’s displayed on the remote but with a max5 you won’t have that so the plugs really don’t matter
