Hey guys :)

I’m female and don’t really have a problem with people saying “hey guys“ in general. Although I do prefer “hi friends“ a lot more (if I’m friends with the others).

However, as a female engineering student, I do have a problem with my male group mates repeatedly calling me ‘bro’ or ‘dude’ (even after I ask them not to), not bothering to spell my name correctly, calling me by my discord nickname rather than my real name, asking whether I have a boyfriend who calls me by that nickname, not using a capital letter for the first letter of my name, and joking about calling me ‘m’lady’, etc… (bit of a rant here).

If any of you guys (one in particular) I worked with last year are reading this, well, you know who you are…
