If you have such troubles with playing too much video games and even spend a lot of money you should just stop playing them. Even if it's a lot of fun etc. if you just can't control the time and money you invest into them you should just give it a break. It's similar with me I have the tendency to spend a week doing not much else and usually uninstall the game after that. It was similar with WoW back then, I even hat to repeat a year in High School, however after quitting playing video games I became pretty good in School and even studied Mathematics when I was still in High School. Right know I'm again playing a lot and it still interfes with a lot of daily life responsibilities.
