You know there aren't enough details for a solid opinion but I'm inclined to think Amber got messed over in this.
The story I am guessing is between the lines:
So your ex husband can't spend one on one time with his son at his game because his clingy girlfriend has to be there
You confront them about it and the girlfriend goes off on you right there at the kid's game.
You end up having to slap her down
Turns out she's a cop groupie and she goes crying to some lawman she used to do.
He comes all the way across.county lines to jerk you around and arrest you.
When you complain about what he did to you he gets by with it claiming copafied immunity.
