Compared to Donald Trump none of that stuff matters.

Well as somebody who is undecided (or deciding not to vote..), that argument is certainly not going to sway me for this election. And it's certainly going to make me reconsider Democratic candidates, in general, in the elections to come. The cat's out of the bag.

But with that being said, I'd be foolish to think that there aren't shady/alarming conversations or actions taking place behind closed doors of the RNC and Trump campaign.

We got lucky that GOP candidate is so awful

I definitely understand where you're coming from, but I also don't think there were many GOP candidates who would have gotten as much support as Trump is getting. Rubio, Cruz, Kasich, Carson, Jeb, etc.....all candidates who I think would have struggled just as much as Trump, albeit in very different ways. All of them would have probably been able to hit Hillary harder on the major talking points, but it who knows if that would have been enough.

These are some strange times for sure.
