How capitalism has dramatically improved the world over the last 200 years

Agree with the data presented, hope it is all sustainable (used to think it absolutely wasn't, hence my screen name), but this data doesn't say capitalism is the cause, let alone the only cause. Many of these measures are among the best causes for each other.

If one buys that the U.S. and U.K. are among the most capitalist places on earth, you'll see two nations not at the top of these six measures.

High levels of economic freedom are a necessary condition for a good commonwealth, but not sufficient. And it seems that super-high levels of economic freedom lead to power concentrations and/or negative externalizes that nip at the heels of the highest levels of human flourishing.

Still, it's been quite the 200 years, and something really miraculous since World War 2.
