How fucking fantastic was that performance. Seriously.

I've travelled to Eau Claire three times. First for the 2015 festival, second for a road trip (andanged to get an Eaux Claires tat from Justin's tattoo artist) and third for the 2016 festival. All three times by myself.. and I live in Southern California. I LOVE Justin and Bon Iver, but I'm sorry, that performance was not very inspiring and I, honestly, think that 8 is one of his weakest songs. It feels lazy to me. I'm a huge fan of albums like Kid A and Age of Adz and I love when artists decide to do something different but.. Most of the stuff on 22, A Million just feels kind of rushed for me. It's like one foot in the door of being something great but the melodies are too pretty to be what he's trying to make it to be and the album artwork feels like it's for a different album entirely. I have a feeling he had a different album recorded but then decided to glitch it up just within this past year. The mixing on the leak feels really muddy too.. I've listened to the album a couple times and there are some beautiful moments but it's just so inconsistent.

Sorry I went all in with this post but I just needed to. I'm just a bit disappointed being someone that's such a huge fan.
