How good is Drexel for pre med?

Honestly, I’m in the premed program and I don’t really recommend it. Drexel has really bad STEM retention rates, so many people drop the major after only their first term. I’ve talked to some upperclassman who have done this and experienced it firsthand from some friends.

On top of that Drexel is mostly known for its coop, and coop for STEM majors are more often than not unpaid, and just for “experience”, you know, the typical lab work. By comparison, engineering majors make up to $40 an hour and work for some really big companies like Google, Comcast, etc. But you don’t just get a bypass into a good pharmaceutical company through Drexel coop.
