1 ) All forms of magick, psionics included, have an extremely limited effect upon the physical world, due to various man-made interferences caused by technology and the planet. If you come into this thinking you're going to get physical-world superpowers, you need to drop out or change your attitude. Any "proof" you've seen of a physical effect on reality that does not have strict adherence to the rigors of scientific method, are nothing more than lies and bullshit.

2 ) Stop reading shit like "PsionGuild.org". Full of Institutionalized Woo. Used to be in the OG crowd over there; they're a bunch of wishful-thinkers with delusions of grandeur, the site's 9 years defunct. Seriously, if any site has a disclaimer specifically for parents, expect woo.

3 ) Do not expect much in the realm of attainable physical power beyond self-reinforcement, mental-based psionics, the raw control of energies, and potentially Accelerating physical healing. Our world is too full of radio fog, and electromagnetic interference for the human body to produce a strong enough enough bio-EM field to create psiballs that can knock shit over, et-cetera. 4 ) If somebody calls you a LARPer or a Fluffbunny, and yet you are honest with yourself, your results, remain in the mindset of the scientist and make records of all successes and fails, they are the LARPers and Fluffbunnies. Strike out on your own, develop your own system, stop taking others' systems of operation as your own; use them as a springboard for the truth and nothing more.

5 ) If you come into this field thinking you're gonna do Uri Gellar shit, fuck off. If you come into this field thinking you're going to get "elemental powers," fuck off. If you come into this field thinking you're going to control time, commit acts of _macro_telekinesis or throw out a fucking hadoken, fuck off. You are deluded, you do not possess the proper mindset, go back to playing with candles. You're only discrediting the rest of us by associating your delusions of grandeur to us.

6 ) Just because the US gov't and other world gov'ts did ESP studies, doesn't mean you have the countenance for it. Those soldiers and volunteers were thoroughly vetted through scientific process before they even went through.
