How offensive is 'シロンボ' meant to be?

First of all, I’m sorry that you had to think of something like this. I’m so disappointed what I read and I’m 怒りたい against the person who wrote the comment.

This is absolutely taboo. I guess this can be classified as casual racism sort of language. I’ve never heard of them in real life but I’ve seen similar words on the internet and there’s always some people who writes a loose comment like this when it comes to history, war, immigrant, etc.

It may be an old guy but for me it looks like someone who’s around 20-40s or at least 50s, with considering the way he/she talks. He/she just can’t imagine how horrible to do this. In Japan, there’s still a lot of people who doesn’t realize or know what they say/ do can be classified as racism but just keep doing for fun, even around me. Even when I worked at an office in Tokyo with few Japanese and more many people from other countries or when I worked in another country with Japanese people who is eagerly desire to contribute to the world, that happened.

And I’m 悲しい and ショック to know yet there’s someone who makes a word like this to trace back to クロンボ. I believed no one uses words like this anymore now in Japan. I’m so sorry.
