Hi, so I really like the idea of sleds and I'm psyched to get started using them but they still confuse me a little.

So I would just make my own sled? Basically I attach two rails to the bottom of a piece of with a cut down the center to make the sled, right? For my current cut the sled would have to be able to carry a 19x19" panel. With my current setup I would be balancing the sled in the air for the first, say, 40% of the cut. Is that about what you would expect to find yourself doing?

One other thing I realized I could do is butt a second board up against the first one and screw them both down to get the 90 degree cut. Any downsides to doing it that way?
