Hoo boy this day was weird. I woke up at 8am because the school called, so this is the big news: I PROBABLY RESCUED THE 15K SCHOLARSHIP. For those who didn't know, I missed a deadline that I didn't know existed, I almost forfeited something I already won, and it was a hella big deal. Anyways, I still have a chance. Why am I up at 12:38am, you ask? Because I found out at 10pm that I can't print a goshdarn official transcript or proof of enrollment myself. Nooo, you have to FAX it for $10 each. So I've been up finding my high school's fax number, sending a very fancy and professional message to my school to let them know I'm faxing this for the purpose for the scholarship (at no cost to them), and then actually getting the stupid thing done. It took forever because the website hasn't changed since literally 1998... but hey, it's sent. I sent confirmation emails to both the transcript office and enrollment office, so they can't say I didn't tell 'em. They'll be sent sometime during the business day Tuesday, the school will wake up to the explanation call, and I'll be there in person tomorrow with my letter requesting that I be formally reconsidered for the scholarship.

However, this is where things get weird... the committee doesn't meet until June 8 anyways. That's a week from now! Why the hell was the deadline in May?! And what's worse is that the head of student services implied that even if I met the deadline, I was never guaranteed to get it reconsidered anyways, and that it didn't even really matter that I was late because... because I was guaranteed because they love me but it's technically not guaranteed which guarantees me but not others? Mind games, mind games everywhere! Dammit people, I'm losing sleep over this! ;_;

Other than that... uh... normal. Mowed our lawn, mowed the new neighbour's lawn, took a three hour nap. Not very relaxed right now but I'm very optimistic.
