HxH OC Tournament #2: Character Submission Thread

I did not read any of the comments before posting to avoid strategizing against other people, so please forgive any simulates (if there are.) I made a lot of revisions to this, so tell me if something does not make sense.

Name: Ra-Toralk

Background info:

Taken in by monks who found him in a burning village, born and raised in the dessert, he was given the same name they all had, Ra. Trained by the monks to endure heat, fire, and to perform religious ceremonies with Khopesh dipped in flaming oil. Left to become a hunter when his views clashed with the monks (was not fond of self immolation as a form of protest.)

Age: 20

Occupation: Nen artifact hunter (search of objects imbued with nen)

Nen Proficiency:

Transmutation: 3

Conjuration: 2

Enhancement: 2

Emission: 0

Manipulation: 0

Abilities:

Nighttime's lantern: His bread and butter, Toralk summons two Khopesh to shroud (shu) with his transmuted nen. Toralk transmutes his nen into a fire that (while still damaging nen normally) cannot burn flesh. However, invisible without Gyo, the nen sets fire to aura and everything else, damaging nen still in control of someone (not residual nen). Toralk can see the fire through anything and illuminates the area. If gyo is used, I must explain how the fire only hurts nen, along with how to put it out. It can be put out by putting the affected area in a state of Zetsu, then releasing the aura again. The fire naturally expires after 1 hours

Sunspot: He transmutes his nen into a non-passive flame and uses KO on a single, 7in diameter spot to shield himself. The Sunspots are persistent and are fueled by his pain; meaning, Toralk can perform a defensive KO and leave it there freely. He can maintain 5 defensive Sunspots for protection and are drained only as he takes damage to that spot. Sunspots can be repaired simply by shifting nen to that spot (max not exceeding KO amount,) and new ones can be created as long as Solar flare is not active. Sunspots are persistent through zetsu, and are are only removable by willingly ending the ability.

Solar flare: He sticks both Khopesh together (to form a circle) and transfers as much of the Sunspots as he wants to his swords, creating a circle of deadly lethal flame between them. The circle shifts left or right when he strikes to encompass one blade at a time. Can block using the flame. Leaves normal nen fire that can be seen without Gyo and lasts 1 minute. Before I use solar flare, I must explain how Nighttime's lantern works, and then say that the fire on this flame is lethal. The technique can only be canceled by using all nen within the circle, abandoning the nen entirely, or using Blackout.

Blackout: At the expense of all his nen not necessary to keep him conscious (excluding Sunspots), he splits the blades from his Solar Flare, splitting the nen between the two blades, and all light within 3 miles ceases to exist until his nen runs out (up to 30 minutes if he were to use it at max nen.) Excluding the burning from Nighttime's lantern, his nen is protected from gyo in this state.

Physical Attributes:

Speed: 2

Strength: 2

Intelligence: 2

Aura Control: 4

Endurance: 3

General Strategy:

Defense general:

An endurance fighter maintaining Sunspots for defending persistently, using Ten everywhere else, and still blocking as needed with Ryu. Always have 5 max power sun strikes and let nen regenerate to full. The default Sunspots are: middle back, left forearm, right forearm, middle chest covering heart, and the head. The most important thing to plan for is how much Sunspot to use in Solar flare, as he cannot rebuild sunspots while the ability is active, lest he waste nen.

Before using Blackout, rebuild the Sunspots

Offence general

Begin fight aggressively with Nighttime's lantern, igniting as much as possible while focusing on hitting the opponent, no matter how weak the strike, anywhere will do. Ideally, never uses solar flare or blackout.

Against close aggressive: Block with Sunspot, counter with Nighttime's lantern. Don't let them use Gyo. If Gyo is used, switch to Solar flare to discourage an all or nothing strategy, taking 100% nen from the arms and blocking with the swords instead. Don't let the opponent use Zetsu.

Against close defensive (dodge): Begin Solar flare by taking 50% from both arms and ignite the ground around to restricting movements, switch back to dual wielding as soon as possible. Proceed to fight as if opponent was a close range aggressive.

Against close defensive (block): Aim for weak spots, it does not matter if he blocks or not as long as he does not question where you are striking. He will run low on without realizing how fast he is running out and the blocks will start to fail.

Against ranged (any): Light as much area near him, or him, as possible and Imminently go into Blackout, taking 100% from both arms and close the distance.

Unless stated otherwise, if Gyo is used by opponent but is not faster, continue with the attack; if opponent is faster, use Blackout.

If the battle is going south, rebuild the Sunspots as best as possible, take nen until all spots have the same strength (or 25% from all spots) and move to either endor flee.

Blackout strategy In short: He uses In on the Khopesh and closes the distance while watching with Nighttime lantern's burn. Opponent will likely use to look for him with gyo, but will only be able to see the his fire. If Zetsu is used to remove the ability, he attacks. If En is used to look for him, he waits.
