I just finished episode 51 of HxH ... and ... I am at a loss for words.

First of all, I meant no ill-feelings, so not sure why you’re getting uptight and defensive.

Secondly, maybe too 5 implies it MAY BE in the top 5, but in no way would that imply it’s remotely a contender for number one.

Third, anyone with AoT as number one favorites generally fall under the category of an anime viewer that usually only watches the mainstream animes, such as Naruto, One Piece, MHA, Bleach, etc. It was indeed a bit presumptuous of me to assume you most likely stick to only mainstream, but I assure you, your comment was infinitely more presumptuous to assume you watched more than I have based off no backing. Furthermore, this is an absurd topic to even argue about, who cares?

Requesting a top 5 just to make a point whether you’ve seen them or not is also a dumb point of reference, considering odds are, top 5 are usually in their spots for good reasons, and everyone has seen them, or should see them at least, but I digress.

As for my top 5, they would be the following:

1.) Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood - One of the more well written stories, has action, drama, deep stories, amazing character building, etc. May not be everyone’s number one, but undeniably one of the best mangas and animes of all time.

2.) Cowboy Bebop

3.) FLCL - Greatest coming of age story of all time in as few as 6 episodes. Yes, there are more, I’ve seen them, but season one still remains iconic.

4.) Steins:Gate

5.) Your Lie in April

Also, to me, AoT is absolutely awesome and original, but is no where near as good as FMA or Cowboy Bebop, so no, not a contender for number one in my opinion.
