I don't know how to add text to an image post so I am adding it as a comment.

I woke up to find some of these in the living room and kitchen area on the floor. They move quickly. I can't really judge the size as I am quite bad with that sort of thing and fear any guesses would be way off.

I have found about ten or so in the time I've been awake, about an hour. Almost always found one at a time. Not congregating for example. In the middle of the room, not along baseboards.

This was the clearest photo I could get of one. When killed they almost disintegrate into a black powder. A couple left behind a rust colored streak on the paper towel.

There doesn't seem to be any distinct odor about them, alive or from what is left afterwards.

Google has returned a large amount of things but none that match what I feel I am looking at.

We live in southeast Texas.
