Speaking of the detection algo, I sold a few laptops a few years ago merch fulfilled. Haven’t sold a laptop on Amazon since then. A few months ago, I left a negative review for a random laptop I bought on Amazon due to the motherboard failing after 18 months.

Last week, I got an email from Amazon saying my account was going to be banned in three days due to my “review manipulation,” if I didn’t admit what I did and share my “plan of action.”

I pieced it all together, wrote it up, basically told Amazon they are absurd and said I did nothing wrong, etc.

My account wasn’t banned but I can’t sell that one ASIN of laptop I sold a few years ago ever again…

Absurdly stupid.
