I’m really sorry for what you went through. Teenage girls are susceptible to abuse, and it’s hard to process what is really going on. Especially when it’s someone in a position of authority.

When I was in high school I forgot the combo to my locker in the girls changing room. The gym teacher had to open it, and he refused to go into the locker room alone with me. I started laughing, and he said it was serious, he could not go alone with me into the changing room. A group of girls came along and we all went in together. He was a piece of shit, I hated him. But he was definitely not into teenage girls.

We had another teacher, and it was the golden rule you don’t be alone with him. He got caught having sex with a students mom in the shop room.

The first adult man who tried to get with me was a cop when I was 13. So, I feel like there isn’t a particular job men shouldn’t be allowed to do. The creeps will be creeps no matter what, but some men do really just love teaching.
