No and no. Her lyrics today are a far cry from CC ones, made up with the vocabulary of a 12 year old at best (and don’t even get me started on the melodies). As for the aesthetic, CC didn’t go for the obvious or their clichéd in their looks, album covers, etc. Alice’s solo aesthetic looks like what a fan thinks dark and pop music would translate to visually.

She is responsible for CC’s popularity, without question. Had she not been in the band, it most likely wouldn’t have exploded as much as it did. That being said, the formula was proven to continue working after her departure, where as AG solo music pales in comparison to CC production wise, and I’m not saying it should sound like CC or that it sounds like it aspires to be. I mean, AG solo music could follow a folkloric genre, country or reggaetón for all I care, but it could at least be good whatever the choice. It’s not, and that’s Jupiter’s responsibility.
