I was fine with the choice to make Bruce black but making him a teenager and renaming him was a needless choice. As for his suit itself, the developers designed the bat symbol in a weird spider-like shape, it barely even looks like a bat.

Rocksteady decided to shift the location to New York, not sure wha the fuck’s up with that. No iconic Batman villains included. It’s like they set out to design a game completely devoid of anything relating to Batman.

He still uses some martial arts but he fights like a ballerina and uses webs which I am almost positive has never been established as an official power in Batman canon. They completely ignore the events from any of the previous Arkham games as well, so I’m guessing this is a reboot. And a really fucking shitty one at that, it sucks cause the gameplay is actually fun it just isn’t like Batman at all.

I don’t understand how this game was so well received.
