uhm lots of people criticize the Holocaust, mainly saying it was the worst thing to ever happen. I think you are missing the difference between the words "criticize" and "deny". Is english your first language? Also, no, their isn't a second Holocaust it is an event where millions were murdered, it is also very poor taste to compare the suffering of a people to another event as it diminishes the atrocity. IF the situation in palestine upsets you, you're allowed to voice that opinion although I don't know what that has to do with denying the Holocaust. If you are anti-semitic and want an excuse to try and hurt people who are of Jewish decent by telling them that they are lying about their grandparents being slaughtered, you can do that in some countries like Iran but it is illegal in a lot of civilized countries as it is hate speech, so tread with caution depending on where you are. Charlie Hebdo was not criticizing Islam, he was criticizing radical Islam which is widely accepted to be one of the biggest cancers on this planet ... behind maybe cancer. Islam itself is absolutely open for criticism. If just because a bunch of people declared a book to be "sacred" meant that nobody was allowed to say they think it was stupid, we would have a lot of unchecked ridiculous ideologies. How many people do you suggest have to declare a book holy before people can't criticize it? 1? 2? a million? There is nothing that separates the koran from the scientology doctrines from a cult doctrine written by some wacko in his basement to the secular world other than its implications and effect on society. If you are wondering why Islam gets a lot more criticism than those wacky cult doctrines, it is because of what happens in the world as a result of the koran. If only a few people drink poison lemonade and they say it was in the name of book A, and you never hear of book A again, it will be dismissed. If all around the world thousands of people are being beheaded, murdered, blown up etc. in the name of the same book, people will take note of this koran, research it and CRITICIZE its existence, not DENY. The koran exists, people kill in its name, those are facts. You could deny the fact that the true intentions of the koran are to murder or you could support that they are, either way is a debate, but its existence and the murders, those are as real as the Holocaust.
