a what point should i throw in the towel?

There's no such thing as a "male-brained hobby" that's just sexist stereotyping. Hella lotta proud ass women ride motorcycles and hunt. My grandmother and great grandmother ran a hunting and trapping lodge out deep in the sticks. Some of the most stubborn, resourceful, and don't-give-a-crap-about-society-thinks role models in my life. Any gender can do any hobby, have any job, love any person, and want to live in whatever body they want.

I've also seen hella veriation in all the facial features you mentioned between AFAB folks. You don't have to fufil all the stereotypes about facial features to be a woman. If looking that way now is dysphoric for you a while lifetime of aging on your natural hormones isn't gonna make it any easier. HRT can help slow that all down and it sounds like ffs could change some things that would it sounds like make you more comfortable.

It sounds like you could maybe use some help talking to a therapist about your discomfort with other women and that might in turn make it easier for you to accept your whole self just as you are and with any changes you may or may not decide to make in the future. Sorry to hear you're struggling.
