'Islam shouldn't culturally shape Germany' - Alexander Dobrindt claims

These fucking hypocrites, man. I bet they don't even sacrifice to Nerbuz!

What are you even trying to say? Are you saying that Christianity is as much a foreign influence in Germany as Islam? Because that simply isn't true. The culture of modern, post-roman Europe was fundamentally shaped by Christianity, and Europeans in turn shaped Christianity through their development and adoption of organizations like the Orthodox, and especially the Catholic and Lutheran churches - which formed the foundation of European law, state-building and politics for centuries.

I don't really agree with Dobrindt's spiel, but that statement is broadly correct; Islam has no cultural roots in Germany - certainly not to the extent that Christianity or even secularism does.

Maybe you're trying to say that Islam spreading into Europe is as natural as Christianity spreading millennia ago? I mean, that's closer to being a sensible observation, but I'd rather it didn't. Christian-based secular Europe is neato for me.
