Isn't it time for LE to give up all the details?

I know you specified in regards to victim privacy. I have given you three precise reasons that are relevant to this case, and have nothing to do with victim privacy. Nowhere did I mention victim privacy in my last comment.

We would all like this case solved, I too would like more information, but I accept that they have valid reasons to withhold it.

The FBI only recently renewed their investigation. It is an active investigation. If they believe providing further information may hurt the case, then they wont release it.

what do we have to lose at this point?

  1. They will lose some of their capability to verify new information (they have DNA is not a counter argument)
  2. Information overload - the more information they provide the less focus is on the information they deem important and the harder it becomes to disseminate that information.
  3. The more information that is out there, the more information for loonies to weave into a false tip and the more convincing a snitches lie can be, and in turn, the more work they have to do to verify that information.

You started this thread, you literally ask for counter arguments, and I have given you three. You didn't even address a single one in your response and then you ask again, what is there to lose? Come on dude....
