Jesus Christ. Now math is racist.

Well people's learning styles are different, but in general, it comes down to applying some basic understanding of how the brain learns. First off, we are fearfully and wonderfully made and we have the world's most advanced supercomputers in our heads. Once we accept that, we can get past our own self doubt that says we can't learn. Second, we we are a visual species and we are wired to remember stories. We have been telling stories since Adam and Eve walked in the Garden. So whatever we need to learn, we have to break it down into short, visually vivid mnemotics and visual cues. If you hsve to learn Avogrado's number or the table of polyatomic molecules, make funny short stories and cartoons of each one, for example. Whatever helps it stick. And third, practicing good study habits. Especially for us guys, we tend to learn best in short sessions of between 15 to 30 minutes at a time, then a short break, then another short session, several times per day. Review learned information at 1 day, 7 day, and 3 week intervals. Etc. There are tons of great books out there that teach learning techniques. Behind every subject there is the logic of the human brain, which is the same whether you are learning astrophysics or English. Once you tap into that, it does not become easy but it becomes doable to learn anything. Check out the book "A Mind for Numbers" by Carol Dweck. She was a math-phobic English Ph.D candidate who decided (and succeeded) in getting one in advanced mathematics instead.
