But you're not understanding how him getting powers is going to change him and affect his anxiety, confidence levels etc. We're not talking about you here and what you would've done. Maybe now because he has powers he's less scared of getting bullied and hurt so it's going to change how to behaves. He's probably more inclined to stand up for himself. Not to mention how he just found out that his dad is literally superman so that may change his outlook on life. He now knows how brave is dad is and what he does for the ppl so maybe he's trying to follow clark's footsteps and be a little more brave and try new things. You yourself are never going to understand this because you're never getting powers nor is your dad superman and for some reason you're still seeing him as the kid from episode 1 pre everything. He's a teen and he's still learning and growing and changing.
